Presenting this run of 200 tags from the right starboard rotor cowling of a Westland Sea King HAS.6
Made from composite, coated in either Bicolour, Grey or Dark Grey paint. Some of these tags have structual elements and/or composite markings on the rear from where the stiffening ribes were removed. There are Laser 'tiger camo' etchings on the rear which is our own spin of the tail 814 squadron markings. XV712 was stationed on HMS invincible (R05)
The image shows the starboard rotor cowling in a similar orientation if it was mounted to the HAS.6 airframe. Skin sections have been removed for tag manufacture. Cowling section was removed due to damage out of limits.
Every tag is CNC machine cut and finished by hand to a high standard, measuring 72mm by 44mm.
Tiger Camo / structual elements vary on every tags back. No two are the same.
They are presented on a backing card and protected in a plastic sleeve.
