Harrier Pegasus Blade Mounted On Harrier Fuselage Skin
Ex RAF Royal Air Force Harrier Jump Jet Rolls Royce Pegasus LP2 jet engine vane mounted on to fuselage skin from Royal Navy Harrier T.8 ZD992 and is bolted together. ZD992 was written off after an engine failure on take off from RNAS Yeovilton 'ski jump' runway on the 16th November 2000. NO FATALITIES. The bolts holding the vane to the base are from Harrier T.8 ZB603.
This low pressure stage two (LP2) vane display stands at about 34cm tall so it's a superb display piece from the much loved Harrier. Three different Harrier airframes make this complete display! The fuselage skin is polished on the top side and left in the original black on the underside.
This is a truly unique piece of upcycled aviation history!
