On the 13 October 2005 an Associated Airlines Short 360-300 landing at
Lagos, Nigeria IAP Skidded off the runway. All the crew and 17 passengers we're unhurt.
The airframe registration was 5N-BFT, with the flight data recorder being removed in January 2006.
Associated Aviation was an airline based in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. It was established in 1996 and operates passenger and cargo services within Nigeria and in West Africa. Its main base was Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. As of June 2019, it is no longer operational.
We have extracted the flight data recorders data-tape and mounted in on the front case.
This item is interactice as the tape mechanism moves anticlockwise freely by hand.
